CloudOut Installation Guide

This guide will walk you through the process of installing and configuring CloudOut's dialer solutions for your organization.

Cloud-Based Installation (Recommended)

CloudOut is primarily a cloud-based solution, which means there's minimal installation required on your end. Follow these steps to get started:

1. Sign Up for an Account

  1. Visit our registration page
  2. Enter your business information and create your administrator account
  3. Verify your email address by clicking the link in the confirmation email
  4. Complete your account setup by providing additional details about your business

2. Configure Your Account

  1. Log in to your CloudOut dashboard
  2. Navigate to "Settings" > "Account Settings"
  3. Set up your business hours, time zone, and other preferences
  4. Configure your billing information if you're on a paid plan

3. Set Up Users

  1. Go to "Team" in the dashboard
  2. Click "Add User" to invite team members
  3. Assign appropriate roles and permissions to each user
  4. Users will receive email invitations with instructions to set up their accounts

Agent Softphone Setup

For agents to make and receive calls, they'll need to set up their softphone:

1. Browser-Based Softphone (Recommended)

  1. Ensure your browser meets the system requirements
  2. Log in to the CloudOut agent portal
  3. When prompted, allow the browser to access your microphone
  4. Complete the audio test to ensure your headset is working properly
  5. The browser-based softphone is now ready to use

2. Desktop Application (Optional)

  1. Log in to your CloudOut dashboard
  2. Go to "Downloads" in the user menu
  3. Download the appropriate version for your operating system
  4. Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions
  5. Launch the application and log in with your CloudOut credentials
  6. Complete the audio setup wizard

3. Mobile Application (Optional)

  1. Download the CloudOut app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)
  2. Open the app and log in with your CloudOut credentials
  3. Grant the necessary permissions for microphone access
  4. Complete the setup wizard

CRM Integration

To integrate CloudOut with your existing CRM:

  1. Go to "Settings" > "Integrations" in your CloudOut dashboard
  2. Select your CRM from the list of available integrations
  3. Follow the specific instructions for your CRM to complete the integration
  4. Test the integration by making a test call and verifying that the data is properly synced
